Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

HomeThis is a featured page

This is my folk song page. I have been singing folk songs for over fifty years, and I am using this site to share my songs and information about them. You are welcome to add information and links to your songs.

Raymond's YouTube Channel: My goal was to upload 1001 songs to YouTube in 1001 days. I didn't manage to do one a day, but I did reach 1001 songs. This wetpaint site is largely an attempt to organise my songs in some kind of logical way, according to their origins or subject matter.

My latest CD "Who Needs Reality?"
is now available on CD Baby!

This video (on the right) is an interview introducing the album. I thought the interviewer was a bit arrogant though!

Raymond's CDs: This is where you can find information about my four CDs, with links to some of the tracks, YouTube performances of the songs and lyrics. My CDs are not currently available for purchase through paypal, but if you are interested, you can contact me and we'll find a way.

Other Non-folk websites:

Raymond's Travel Page: My other main interest is in travelling. This site has many stories and journals about my travels over the years, though it has not been updated for some time.

Raymond's Stories: I used to write short stories and poems, until I realised I wasn't very good at it. As I don't like to throw things away, I have collected my stories on this site. Actually there are some quite good ones, if you look carefully enough.

Recommended Websites:

GEST Songs Of Newfoundland And Labrador

An excellent folk song resource, which includes several of my YouTube videos.
